BURLINGTON — Vermont attorney general candidate T.J. Donovan has conceded the Democratic primary race to incumbent Attorney General William Sorrell.
Donovan announced his decision Wednesday morning in Burlington before heading to a Democratic party unity rally at Union Station.
The race was too close to call on Tuesday night, but Sorrell had built a lead of just over 600 votes with the votes of 96 percent of Vermont’s districts being counted.
Donovan says he’s proud of the campaign he ran and is looking forward to helping to get Sorrell re-elected in November.MORE IN NewsPORTLAND, Maine — U.S. Sen.
