The small town of Roxbury is nearly done with its recovery work.

The $1.9 million in road damages sustained throughout the town are close to being completely repaired and, according to Road Foreman Dave McShane, while the state fish hatcheries have not yet been rebuilt, the town plans to do so.

McShane expressed a sentiment shared by many other town officials across the state: “There was a lot of pain in the neck paperwork, but FEMA reimbursement should cover most of the town’s projects.”
