MIDDLESEX — A Hartland woman crashed her car Sunday on Interstate 89 and was cited on a charge of drunken driving, according to Vermont State Police.

Emily Bridges, 21, said she was driving home in her 2006 Subaru Forester south on I-89 in Middlesex when state police say she told them she fell asleep at the wheel. After an investigation, she was cited and is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court Sept. 6.
