Family argument over laptop leads to arrest in Vt.
WESTMINSTER — Vermont State Police said a family argument over a laptop computer ended with an accidental gunshot and an arrest.
Trooper Eric Vitali said Emery Ross became involved in a spat with a family member in their Westminster house Thursday over possession of the computer. At one point, he said, the 26-year-old Ross pointed a firearm at a family member.
The gun reportedly went off as someone was trying to disarm him. No one was hurt.
