RYEGATE — A Groton man is accused of pushing and spitting on a 68-year-old family member in Ryegate on Aug. 5, violating an abuse prevention order.

Caleb Tracy, 20, was cited on charges of domestic assault and violating the order after state police say he approached and threatened the family member on Whitelaw Road.

Tracy is to appear in Caledonia County criminal court Sept. 17 to answer the charges.
