MIDDLESEX — Vermont State Police said a Massachusetts woman walked away unscathed after her vehicle hydroplaned into a guardrail in Middlesex on Friday.
Melisa Demauro, 34, of Tyngsborough, Mass., was driving south on Interstate 89 when her vehicle slid right and spun 180 degrees, police said. It then struck a guardrail, damaging the driver’s side.
The impact caused the vehicle to spin back 180 degrees and come to rest facing south in the breakdown lane, police said.
State police said no other vehicles were involved and Demauro was uninjured. She was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.MORE IN This Just InMONTPELIER — Gov. Full StoryMONTPELIER — Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt. Full StoryMORETOWN — The town has applied for a disaster recovery grant. Full Story -
