Problems are coming

In regard to the Berlin Pond issue, no one in this state can say people do not litter. Just look at the roadways. And then the cost of the state to clean it every year. Berlin pond is no exception. It is a matter of time.

All along, just the banks of the Dog River any year you find, fishing line, lures, tackle, trash, wrappers, bait containers, etc. Now why would anyone say that will not happen at the pond? They are blind, and just because one person videoed around the pond on one day and it was clean does not show squat. Leave the pond alone just for the beauty of it, if nothing at all. Some Joe is trying to make a name for himself getting a stink bomb going.

I am not a wildlife expert and do not pretend to be one, but I do have a voice and I say, “Leave it alone.”

Or maybe Joe Someone can foot the cleanup bill in the near future for what will happen and cost all of us more taxes.

I never see anyone from the town offices in Berlin cleaning their park on the Dog River. And it gets nasty. Ask the game warden.
