WATERBURY — On Monday, Video King owner Anthony Pellegrino placed numerous closing signs on his store that has been a hallmark of the area for nearly 25 years.
He plans to close the Park Row store by the end of the month and is liquidating its 10,000 movies and games, some for as little as $5.
Pellegrino opened the store in October 1987 with his sister.
Other Video King stores in St. Johnsbury, St. Albans and Middlebury will remain in place, Pellegrino said.
