ST. JOHNSBURY — Police say a drunken Concord woman, who almost dropped her baby when she got out of her vehicle, tried to kick an officer in the face after being arrested for driving under the influence.
Joanne C. Way, 21, also was charged with endangerment of a baby, attempted simple assault and resisting arrest.
After responding to a complaint about Way, police say they tried to give her sobriety tests. Way became agitated and refused.
She was arrested and then became violent, according to police.
Way was put in the back seat of the police cruiser and attempted to kick an officer, police say. She then tried to kick the windows out of the cruiser.
