Vermont State Police has reported that the man missing since Saturday has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say a Vermont State Police dog and a game warden with the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department found the body of Callan M. Boardman, 34, of Lyndonville in a wooded area off Porrell Hill Road.
Boardman had been reported missing Saturday night and told police he was possibly suicidal.
Police had been looking for Boardman since then.
