A Brandon man is charged with leading police on a high-speed chase with two young children in his car on Monday.
Police say they attempted to stop John C. Ryea, 29, for speeding on Route 103 in Shrewsbury. But instead of pulling over, Ryea allegedly fled at a high rate of speed and was later found in Mount Holly, police said.
Two children under the age of 10 were found in the car with him, police said.
Ryea was arrested and charged with attempting to elude, negligent operation, cruelty to a child under 10 and driving with a suspended license.
Ryea also had an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license in Windsor County, police said.
