Vermont State Police are reporting that Interstate 89, south of the St. Albans exit, is down to a single lane due to a tractor-trailer that lost a load of sand.

Motorists should expect delays.

Troopers from the St Albans barracks are on-scene now.

The St. Albans exit is Exit 19, the spill is at mile 112.
