Police warn of suspicious activity in PlainfieldJuly 14,2012
PLAINFIELD — Reports of a man with a van inviting young children to have pizza with him on Creamery Street has prompted state police to issue a warning to parents.
On Friday afternoon, police say they received reports that a white man with curly black hair in his late 20s or early 30s was walking on the road asking children to go for a walk with him and have a slice of pizza.
The man, who was reportedly wearing black pants and a blue long sleeve shirt, was said to be driving an older model white van with black curtains.
