Rites

BARRE — The committal service for Richard Wayne Harris, of Branch Street, was held Monday, July 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Craftsbury Common Cemetery. He died June 22, 2012, at the Rowan Court Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Military honors were accorded by the funeral honors team of the Vermont Army National Guard, Camp Johnson, in Colchester.

Taps was sounded and the American flag was folded and presented to his sister, Betty Bouthiette.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
