Police: Taxi strikes pedestrian

SOUTH BURLINGTON — Police in South Burlington say a taxi cab struck a pedestrian in front of the Burlington International Airport.

Police said the taxi was traveling west on Airport Drive and hit the pedestrian at about 4:10 a.m. Monday. The pedestrian was walking on the west side of the road.

The pedestrian has been hospitalized in stable condition.

Police are seeking more information about the accident.
