Ashamed of where we are

Lobbyists and business leaders able to rub elbows with politicians for $125 per head. I think this is a prime example that Vermont politics is catching up to the national level of indecency.

You can have access to the pols if you are able to pay. I guess this makes it the second-oldest profession in the world.

Where do the citizens and voters of Vermont fit into this dance of influence. Shouldn’t they have the direct access instead of the ones able to buy it and influence?

I am ashamed of where we have come.
