CABOT — A masked man robbed a Cabot homeowner at gunpoint early Thursday, police say.
At about 1:30 a.m., police say, a man knocked on the homeowner’s door and said he was having car trouble and needed help.
When the homeowner opened the door, the man, armed with a rifle, forced his way inside the home on Vermont Route 215 and demanded money. The victim gave the intruder an undisclosed sum of cash.
The gunman then tied up the victim and left, possibly on foot.
The intruder is described as a white male who was wearing hunter camouflage clothing and a ski mask.
