BARRE — Police are hoping to identify the owners of some of the property they allegedly discovered while searching the home of a Barre man four months ago.

State police said Friday their investigation of a February burglary in Huntington led them to obtain a search warrant for the home of Robert Witham, 31, of Barre. That warrant was executed March 3 and yielded numerous “suspected stolen items.”

They included flat-screen televisions, guitars, a saxophone, a flute, a clarinet, game cameras, muzzleloader rifles and other hunting equipment.

Police are asking people in Huntington and Washington County who lost property to thefts in the last 12 months to contact Trooper Marchand at 878-7111.
