Police seek suspect in Cabot home invasion
CABOT — Vermont State Police say a young male armed with a rifle forced his way into a Cabot home and demanded money from the 67-year-old homeowner before tying the homeowner up and fleeing.
Police say the incident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Friday when the homeowner on Route 215 was awakened by the suspect, who reported he was having car trouble.
The homeowner gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money before being tied up.
Police did not report any injuries.
