Gunshots at Vt apartment complex puzzle policeJune 10,2012
SOUTH BURLINGTON — Police in South Burlington are trying to determine why several rounds were fired at an apartment complex.
Investigators on Friday were looking for stray bullets from the shootings the previous night.
Police have a lot of questions, but they tell WCAX-TV (http://bit.ly/NTzgdy) that they believe three people were in a car leaving the scene when someone in an apartment fired 12 shots at them.
The tenant of the apartment, Shakyra Martin Hines, is not believed to be the shooter but was arrested on charges of for possession of illegal drugs.
It was the second drug-related shooting in six weeks.
