BARRE TOWN — The Service of Remembrance for Alice M. Clark, of Sunset Drive, was held Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. She died May 24, 2012, in the Garden Room at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.

Fr. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of St. Monica Catholic Church, led the celebration. Great-granddaughter Kimberly Sklener read from Scripture.

Poetic tributes were offered by granddaughter Donna Sklener, grandson Scott Clark and granddaughter Megan Clark, which was read by family friend Dawn Carey. Granddaughter Kate Clark Askin also spoke.

Interment followed in the Hope Cemetery where Fr. Bilodeau read the committal prayers. Sons Philip, James and Michael Clark and family friend Coralin Mackey offered words of remembrance.

Son and daughter-in-law James and Nancy Clark hosted a time of fellowship and refreshment at their home in West Topsham following the service.
