BERLIN — Shortly after 6 p.m. on Memorial Day, police arrested James Poindexter, 38, of Northfield, for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police responded to Route 12, where Poindexter had driven his vehicle into the guardrails.
He was taken into custody and processed at the Berlin Police Department.
Poindexter’s damaged vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
