WILLISTON — A Vermont man and his girlfriend are facing felony charges for allegedly snatching a purse with $2,000 in it from a 92-year-old woman.

Police said Marjorie Cadran’s purse was swiped from her shopping cart while she was picking up her medications at a supermarket in Williston.

Police said they received several tips after releasing surveillance video of the theft, leading to the arrests of 32-year-old Nicholas Bartlett of Johnson and his girlfriend, 35-year-old Emily Bagley of Hardwick.

Police told WCAX-TV that they haven’t recovered the cash.
