COLCHESTER — Vermont police say a 25-year-old woman was killed in single-vehicle car crash.
Colchester police said a car being driven at a high speed lost control on Bay Road and crashed into a utility pole around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Witnesses told police the car burst into flames, trapping Tasha Maring of Colchester in the front passenger seat.
Officials say Maring died in the crash, and a 16-year-old St. Albans boy was taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care hospital in Burlington with non-life-threatening injuries.
