• DMV has bigger problems than Irene plate

    I find it fascinating that the governor is getting so much attention over how many “Vermont Strong” license plates have been sold or not sold — when $18 million paid to Hewlett-Packard hardly gets an article. The Motor Vehicle Department over the last two years or more has spent $18 million for software that is still but a dream in someone’s mind. That is your transportation dollars at work. Where is the software? Try not to think about that next time you gas up and pay that tax.
