@Normal:Not all rosy for Entergy
It would appear that Entergy’s relationship with its workers isn’t as smooth as we’re lead to believe.
Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, Mass., owned and operated by Entergy has yet to come to a new contract agreement with UWUA local 369. 240 of the 650 employees at the plant are members. The contract expired May 15 without final resolution. Plant management directed workers covered by the contract in non-essential positions to remain at home Wednesday with full pay and benefits pending further progress on the contract. This is not a lock out. The management decision to temporarily limit the workforce is in the interest of safety.
Shut down Vermont Yankee and mandate Entergy pay the decommissioning and radioactive waste clean-up cost.
