Some thoughts as East Montpelier voters consider the school bond vote. The issues related to this vote are not that complicated. They concern scope and timing, simply, “Is this the right project at the right time?”

The timing issue is simple, it will cost the town substantially more money to delay this project. The scope of the project was determined by a lot of effort from a lot of people, Due diligence was done. The assessed value of the real estate in town is over a quarter of a billion dollars. Support for this project will help safeguard and enhance those assets. This is the right project and the right time.
