@Normal:Supporting the bond

After becoming educated about the proposal to repair and expand East Montpelier Elementary School, I am in full support and will be voting for the bond on May 22.

The people closest to the project, who have looked hard at the code violations of the building, the waste of resources, and who have thought long about the best way to address those problems have given their stamp of approval for this plan. The teachers, the staff, the people who know what the situation is, have said, “This is what we need.” I believe them. When it comes to kids, education, and the school, we should not hold back our investment. The teachers and staff deserve to have their hard and excellent work, on behalf of our kids, community, and the future, supported.
