Rites

UPPER WEBSTERVILLE — The family graveside service for Evelyn L. Mercier, of Church Hill Road, was held Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Sylvester Cemetery in Barre Town. She died May 11, 2012, at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

The Rev. David Vanderlinde-Abernathy, pastor of the Barre Congregational Church, read the committal prayers and led the congregation in the hymn “How Great Thou Art.”

Words of remembrance and reflections were offered by her daughter, Judy Mercier.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
