SHELBURNE — Vermont’s Shelburne Museum has started a $14 million expansion.
The museum is adding a 17,000 square-foot structure on its 45-acre grounds. The Center for Art and Education is scheduled to open in the fall of 2013.
The addition will allow part of the museum to be open all year.
The Burlington Free Press reported that money also will be used for a fiber optics communications system and an operations endowment for the new center.MORE IN Vermont NewsMONTPELIER — Ask Peter Shumlin to track the origins of his fiscal policy, and he’ll tell you...
