WALDEN — The loss of a utility trailer on Route 15 in Walden on Monday caused major damage to one of the vehicles involved but did not cause any injuries, police said.

Vermont State Police reported that a trailer being pulled by a 1980 International truck, driven by Brent Lindstrom, of Randolph, became unhitched. It crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the rear of a 2005 Volvo C90 driven by Carrie Legus, of Walden.

The trailer sustained minor damage, and Legus’ vehicle sustained major damage to the rear.
