NORTHFIELD — Police arrested two Massachusetts men for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after stopping two vehicles on North Main Street Thursday night.
According to a police report, a motor vehicle stop was conducted on two vehicles that both were operating along North Main Street. One was driven by Ryan Carroll, 22, of Lynnfield, Mass., and the other was operated by Richard Williams III, 22, of Bridgewater, Mass.
Police report that while speaking with the Carroll and Williams, an odor of intoxicants was detected. Both men were arrested and processed for driving under the influence of alcohol. They were issued citations to appear in Barre court later this month to answer to the charge. -
