NORTHFIELD — A Montpelier man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs after he was stopped by police on Friday night.
Armando M. Lopez, 20, of Montpelier was arrested on charges of DUI drugs after an officer stopped a vehicle for trespassing at Memorial Park after hours.
During an investigation, Lopez allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana more than once during the evening. Police said that Lopez submitted to the standard field sobriety exercises and allegedly demonstrated signs of impairment.
