BARRE — On Tuesday, students around the state will take part in the Young Writers Project Vermont Writes Day.

The Young Writers Project is encouraging schools statewide to take a moment out of their day to get students, teachers, administrators, staff and guests including local businesses and organizations, to work on a piece of writing.

On Tuesday, Young Writers Project will provide a Web site at vermontwritesday.org that will be open for use on Feb. 7 for people to post work and offer comments.

Young writers can submit their work as at youngwritersproject.org. Many local works appear here in The Times Argus.
