GMVS Senior
The dynamic midfielder was one of the state's top two-way players, helping the 5-8 Gumbies force a penalty kick shootout against U-32 in the Division II playdowns.
Ryan Cross
Peoples Academy Senior
After PA's leading scorer Luke Fitzgerald broke his leg in the season opener, Cross showed his versatility and filled many roles for the Wolves. Naturally a central fullback, he often helped out in the midfield and scored three goals from an attacking position.
Michael Davison, Northfield Junior
The All-State selection dished out four assists in addition to scoring the game-tying goal against Montpelier and the game-winner against Peoples Academy.
Jaren Scrubb, Stowe Junior
Playing in just his third year as a goalie, Scrubb recorded 11 clean sheets to guide the Raiders to their third straight Division III crown.
Luke Grosvenor, Stowe
The center fullback towered over most opponents and made his job look easy with keen anticipation and smart first touches on the ball.
Eli Diebold, Northfield Junior
Capable of playing striker or midfielder, Diebold scored six goals to go along with three assists for the Marauders.
Max Asoera, Spaulding Senior
Blessed with superior field vision and passing skills, the central midfielder's understanding of the game was invaluable for the Crimson Tide. His shooting range forced opponents to constanlty track him, and his dogged hustle on defense frustrated some of the state's most dangerous strikers.
Asoera was named to the First-Team All-League and All-State and tried out for the Twin State Classic. He tallied 12 assists in two varsity seasons.
