HARTLAND — Vermont State Police say a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of hallucinogenic mushrooms and the arrest of a New Hampshire man.
Twenty-three-year-old Jason Collins, of Claremont, N.H., was stopped for an undisclosed minor motor vehicle violation Nov. 20 on Interstate 91 in Hartland. Troopers from the Royalton barracks found Collins to be in possession of psilocybin mushrooms. He was cited into Vermont District Court in Windsor County to answer the charge, but no date was set.
