Six Essex football players will suit up Saturday

MIDDLEBURY — Essex will have six players on the North squad, including prolific playmakers Pat Nee, Evan McCrea and quarterback Max Librizzi. They will be joined by teammates Jay McCormack, Kevin Jenko and Adam Slocum.

The Rutland Raiders will have five players on the South squad as they try to leave the field with a better taste in their mouth than they did after the loss to Essex. Representing the Raiders are Greg Gonyea, Leo Cohen, Ricky Lantman, Jim Sullivan and Tyler Flinn.

BFA-Fairfax's Mike Williams is the head coach of the North and Burr and Burton Academy's Jason Thomas the head coach of the South team. The series stands at 4-4.
