EASTON, Mass. – Five members of the Saint Anselm football team have been honored by the Northeast-10 as members of the 2009 Northeast-10 All-Conference Teams, as voted by the league's head coaches. Leading the way is rookie Ethan Sylvain of East Montpelier, who was voted as the league's Co-Freshman of the Year and earned Second Team All-Conference honors.

Joining Sylvain on the All-Conference Teams was sophomore Marc Wilson as a First Team selection at wide receiver and senior Dan Bohenek, a Second Team selection at linebacker. Also voted to the All-Rookie team with Sylvain was freshman quarterback Michael Pierce and rookie linebacker Chris Bent.

Sylvain, the second-leading freshman tackler in the Northeast-10 with 8.1 tackles per game, was a two-time Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week during the season. In addition to the Freshman of the Year honor, Sylvain was the only freshman on either All-Conference team.
