Flu forces Twinfield to postpone play

TWINFIELD – Sports events aren't alone in being impacted by flu outbreak in the region. Twinfield Union school has been forced to postpone its theater production of the Three Penny Opera because both of the female leads are down with the flu. The play has been rescheduled from this weekend to Nov. 20-22.
Twinfield Principal Owen Bradley reported the school was facing a high sickness absentee rate earlier in the week. Five schools in the state this week also reported they were forced to close because so many students were out sick with flu or other illnesses.
