MONTPELIER (AP) — A committee examining ways to prop up Vermont's unemployment insurance fund meets this week in Montpelier, and it's looking for public input.
The Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund Study Committee meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Room 11 of the Statehouse.
Anyone interested in testifying is asked to register by calling (802) 828-2253 or sending an e-mail message.
The state estimates that the unemployment insurance fund could run out of money early next year if current trends continue and no action is taken to bolster it.
