MARSHFIELD – Police arrested a 25-year-old Middlesex man on an arrest warrant Tuesday but had to call in a police dog to find the suspect who had fled the scene, according a news release from the Washington County Sheriff's Department.
Police said that Ryan W. Lamery stopped his car in a driveway and ran into the woods after police tried to pull him over on Bunker Hill Road in Marshfield. With the help of a police dog and officer from Barre Town, Lamery was found hiding in the woods nearby, police said.
Lamery's driver's license is suspended and he had a warrant out for his arrest for not appearing at an arraignment in September to face a charge of furnishing alcohol to minors, police said.
