BARRE – A 19-year-old Enosburg Falls resident who dramatically crashed her car in Williamstown on Tuesday morning was transported to a hospital but was not seriously injured, according to the Vermont State Police.

Emily Dudley was driving her 1995 Honda Accord south on Interstate 89 at 10:24 a.m. when she drifted toward the center median, police said in a news release.

She overcorrected her car, lost control, went off the east side of the road and went through some trees, traveling a total of about 200 feet, police said.

Dudley was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, but a preliminary screening revealed she emerged with just bumps and bruises, said police.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
