SOUTH BURLINGTON — Police say a Vermont nail salon manager upset with a man smoking outside of his business stabbed him after they started to fight.

The Burlington Free Press reports 40-year-old Stephen Le of South Burlington was cited for aggravated assault and was to be arraigned Friday.

Police say 23-year-old Daniel Dennis of Essex was treated for an abdominal wound.

Police Chief Trevor Whipple said Le apparently became upset that Dennis was smoking outside Le's business Wednesday and began arguing with him. Whipple said the men scuffled and Dennis pushed Le to the ground. He said Le pulled out a knife and stabbed Dennis.

Whipple said Dennis went for help to a nearby bridal shop while Le went to his car and retrieved a loaded handgun. Police said the gun was in Le's waistband when they arrived.

So...let me get this straight...the man is smoking....and another man, offended by this, wounds the smoker with a knife and goes to his car to get a loaded handgun to what...?
Oh my god....what is wrong with this picture? Please tell me ...will he get off on a self defense defense? Probably! Self defense against second hand smoke?
Again, something wrong with this picture...
