BARRE – A 33-year-old East Barre man was arrested on suspicion of writing bad checks throughout Washington County and possession of a regulated drug, according to the Berlin Police Department.
Chadwick Morrison was arrested Thursday and cited to appear in Vermont District Court in Barre in November to face the charges. He is also accused of violating his probation.
Police said in a news release that Morrison wrote more than $1,500 worth of bad checks on a closed account. Police did not say what type of drug he allegedly possessed.
