MONTPELIER — Go loco at the Growing Local Fest this weekend.
That's the word from Vermont College of Fine Arts, which is hosting the Growing Local Fest – a benefit concert and local food celebration is taking place Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. All the fun and learning takes place on the college green.
There's lots to do, including two food-related workshops, music, local food vendors, kids' activities and a beer tent.
Proceeds go to creating a garden at every school in Washington County.
The suggested donation is $10 per individual or $20 per family.
