July 2
Dana Anderson was held for detox with a blood-alcohol level of .203.
Rite Aid Pharmacy reported a female shoplifter.
A Highgate Drive resident said a neighbor just tried to sell her drugs.
A Nichols Street resident said kids were throwing stones that hit her car.
A parked truck was reportedly hit behind the Barre Opera House and the other car involved left the scene.
July 3
A North Main Street business reported possible embezzlement by an employee.
Several covers for fire sprinklers were stolen from a South Main Street location.
Christopher Woods, 23, was arrested on a warrant.
A male subject reportedly shoved his way into a Highgate Drive apartment even though a female didn't want him there.
People were reportedly setting off fireworks on Highgate Drive.
Barre City police held Michael Carpenter in protective custody for the Montpelier Police Department with a blood-alcohol level of .180.
Fireworks were reported on Highgate Drive.
A fight 3 or 4 people was reported on Jefferson Street, and the caller said a large group was watching the fight.
Peter Lincoln was lodged for detox with a blood-alcohol level of .310.
A group of people in a North Main Street parking lot were reportedly setting off car alarms intentionally.
July 4
Police took eight reports of fireworks being set off in the city.
Items were reported stolen from the laundry room at Highgate Apartments.
A caller said their car was vandalized on Brook Street.
A male had reportedly fallen in a garage on Zan Street and couldn't get up. The caller believed he was drunk.
A caller said his medications were stolen from a Highgate Drive location.
A caller said they wanted to give police information about Percocet sales in the city.
Police held Mark Eakins for the Department of Corrections.
A caller said his Seminary Street apartment was broken into and his Xbox stolen.
July 5
James A. Shreve Jr., 25, was lodged for domestic assault for the Montpelier Police Department.
A caller said a small fox at the entrance to Hope Cemetery wouldn't get up and move.
A possible fight was reported in front of LACE on North Main Street.
A domestic fight was reported on Churchill Road in Websterville.
A caller said two people were watching her apartment, her cat and her car. Someone went to check on them and thinks they have killed her cat, won't give back her car and stole her television.
Michael Enman was held for the Department of Corrections.
July 6
Dana Sherman, 19, was lodged for domestic assault.
A Highgate Drive resident reported threatening phone calls.
On Bugbee Avenue, a man was reportedly seen giving beer to an underage male.
A pepper, an American flag and a sign were reportedly stolen from the Barre Community Garden.
A South Main Street resident said his wife was threatening him.
July 7
A caller reported fraud with a lending company out of state.
A caller said they had a vehicle hit her car and break the mirror on Seminary Street.
Police lodged Tyson Stearns for detox.
A caller said their blue bike was stolen within the previous hour from South Main Street.
An inspection sticker was reported stolen from a motorcycle on Hooker Avenue.
July 8
A Shurtleff Place resident said people keep running into his stone wall.
A male and female were reportedly fighting and the caller saw the female chasing the male. The caller said the male had a cut over his left eyebrow. The caller said they were running from Granite Street.
Rite Aid Pharmacy said a male tried to steal a $25 item and the store wanted a no-trespass order issued.
A Prospect Street resident reported trespassing and harassing phone calls.
Garrett Delary was lodged for the Department of Corrections.
