Traffic was nightmare

Toolbox

Published: July 4, 2009

Yesterday myself and a friend traveled Route 2 to 302.

It was a nightmare. It took us 50 minutes. As we saw so many cars backed we turned the motor off to conserve gas. At first we expected at the most a 15-minute delay. Well, thank goodness our trip wasn't a matter of emergency or health concern. My heart goes out to the lady that waited for her appointment. Something must be done about the delays. In these tough times people that oversee construction on the roads must be even more careful and concerned.

Granted, there are unforeseen circumstances that can cause more delays, but there should be even more care taken before construction begins.

A good approach would be to AVOID the construction, but it seems some folks can't be bothered, and would rather complain...it's a mess, and it's not going away this summer...so PLAN ahead!
