Vermont lottery game Hot Lotto starts Sunday

BERLIN, Vt. (AP) - Vermont officials say the state's newest lottery game starts Sunday.
Those who play Hot Lotto select five white ball numbers from 1 to 39, and one Hot Ball number from 1 to 19. Players also may ask for an Easy Pick, and the terminal will randomly pick the numbers. Jackpots start at $1 million.
The Burlington Free Press reports that each play costs $1, and drawings will be held Wednesday and Saturday evenings. For an additional $1, players can select the Sizzler option to triple their non-jackpot winnings.
From this Sunday through July 18, players who purchase a $1 Hot Lotto ticket will have a chance to win $10 instantly. Those who purchase a Hot Lotto ticket with Sizzler could win $30 instantly.
