CALAIS — Fay Jacobs Robinson was born on March 10, 1938, at Heaton Hospital in Montpelier, Vermont. He passed away on June 12, 2009, and will be buried in Robinson Cemetery in Calais, Vermont.

Fay married the love of his life Beverly Anna Hardaker on April 14, 1962, in Matamoros, Mexico. They had another ceremony with friends and family in St. Augustine's Church in Montpelier, Vermont on May 10, 1964. Fay and Beverly then moved to Calais in 1969 and purchased their home in 1970. They had two children Glee Margret Robinson born Aug. 27, 1963, and Gregory Joseph Robinson born June 18, 1966. Fay was predeceased by his wife Beverly Anna (Hardaker) Robinson. She was born on Dec. 15, 1937, and died in a tragic fire at their family home on Nov. 20, 1993, at the young age of 56 years 11 months and five days.

Fay enjoyed spending time with his family and took pleasure in activities such as hunting, fishing and keeping a large garden. He played darts, had a coin collection and overall was a jack of all trades, keeping himself busy by tinkering on things and projects around the house.
