Woman held for domestic assault

WILLIAMSTOWN – A 27-year-old Williamstown woman was held in jail on $500 bail after she was charged with domestic assault after an incident early Sunday morning.

State and Northfield police responded to 88 Seaver Rd. after a disturbance was reported and said they found Blake outside intoxicated without clothes and covered in blood, After an investigation, they charged her with assaulting Matthew Pape, 34, of the same address and observed damage to a car and several broken windows in the house.

Blake was transported to Central Vermont Hospital by ambulance, treated and released, and then lodged at the Chittenden County Correctional Center pending arraignment on charges of domestic assault in Vermont District Court in Chelsea on Monday morning.

Police said additional charges maybe pending.
